A former Oklahoma high school coach is facing criminal charges after police say she was recorded giving tattoos to underage students.
Alissa Lloyd, 35, was charged with unlawful tattooing, a misdemeanor, after police said she gave tattoos to two girls who knew her through her former position as a girls basketball coach and teacher at Moore High School in Moore, Oklahoma. The alleged incident occurred in April, and according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by local Fox affiliate KOKH, there was video of the illegal tattoo session.
According to police, two girls went to Alissa Lloyd’s home for a visit on April 3 and left with permanent tattoos.
The Norman Police Department arrested Lloyd, who later posted a $1,000 bond. She is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Oct. 16.
