SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office hosted a prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk’s family on Wednesday.
The vigil commenced with a reading of The Constitution and was subsequently followed by a prayer. As stated by the sheriff’s office, the vigil was dedicated to “Charlie Kirk’s family, our community, our nation, and for unity.”
Tyler McMullins, a speaker at the vigil, said the experience was positively overwhelming.
“Observing all the response, the positive reaction to what has transpired in our nation,” he expressed. “People gather for prayer vigils. Individuals come together to pray and seek God. That’s crucial. To me, this is the essential path to revival, for our nation to return to God.”
McMullins said he is “blessed beyond measure” to witness hundreds of people from the Blountville community come to the vigil.
