GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gainesville Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old victim Saturday evening in the Lincoln Estates neighborhood.
GPD officers were called to the 1600 block of SE 14th Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, October 3, after several residents reported hearing gunshots.
Officers arriving at the scene found the 21-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
