“Home Alone” actor Devin Ratray was arrested on domestic violence charges in Oklahoma on Wednesday for an alleged altercation with his then-girlfriend that occurred two weeks earlier.

According to KFOR, Ratray, 44, is believed to have battered and attempted to strangle his girlfriend while in Oklahoma City. At the time of the reported assault, Ratray had traveled Oklahoma City to be a celebrity guest for OKC’s Pop Christmas Con, a two-day event at Wyndham Garden Oklahoma City Airport.

The girlfriend reportedly told police that on December 8, she and Ratray had gone to Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse, where Ratray allegedly had a bottle of wine and several shots of alcohol. The girlfriend had two cocktails, KFOR reported.

The girlfriend allegedly said she believed Ratray was drunk by the time they left the restaurant. An affidavit stated that the couple then walked to Coyote Ugly Saloon, where the girlfriend did not consume alcohol but Ratray drank 10 shots.

While at the famous bar, two women reportedly approached Ratray and his girlfriend and asked Ratray for his autograph. The girlfriend gave the women two signed autograph cards from her purse — angering Ratray as she did not charge them for the cards, according to KFOR.

The girlfriend reportedly left Ratray at the bar and walked to the hotel they were staying at. He ultimately left the bar and followed his girlfriend to the hotel, where an argument occurred, the news outlet reported.

Ratray was accused of pushing his girlfriend on the bed, placing pressure on her throat using one hand, and covering her mouth using the other.

“This is how you die,” the actor said as he choked her, police alleged.

Police also claimed Ratray eventually stopped choking her only to punch her in the face. The girlfriend said she fled the room but had to return to get her personal items. Upon returning, Ratray allegedly pushed his girlfriend into a desk.

According to KFOR, the victim suffered various injuries, including marks under her right eye, bruising under her left eye, marks above her lip, bruising to her chest, and pain in her right arm.

Ratray, who portrayed Buzz McCallister in the “Home Alone” series, was charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation and domestic assault and battery charges. His rep told TMZ that the couple had a non-physical argument before breaking up.
