According to News4Jax, Aiden Fucci is the teen suspected of killing 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey in her St. Johns County neighborhood.
Furthermore, he was arrested early Monday and booked into the St. Johns County jail on second-degree murder charges.
Fucci, 14, was taken to the Volusia County Regional Detention Center, where a judge on Tuesday ordered him to be held in Department of Juvenile Justice custody for 21 days.
Fucci, Bailey’s Patriot Oaks Academy classmate, is the sole suspect in her death, according to St. Johns County Sheriff Robert Hardwick. There has been no information released about a possible motive in the case.

Aiden Fucci’s girlfriend’s name has not yet been revealed on the internet, but she has issued a statement.

Tristyn Bailey Murder Trial Update
In terms of Tristyn Bailey’s murder, her body was discovered Sunday evening beside a retention pond in a cul-de-sac in the Durbin Crossing development, about a half-mile from Aiden’s house.
According to the medical examiner’s office, Bailey was stabbed 114 times and suffered a “severe injury to her skull and other trauma.” Her death was determined to be the result of a homicide.
Investigators obtained a warrant to search Fucci’s home based on his statements and the discovery of Bailey’s body, and they recovered “several items of evidentiary value,” according to the Sheriff’s Office. According to the report, among those items were clothing, some of which tested positive for blood.

Aiden Fucci Parents And Age Facebook Details
Aiden Fucci’s parents spoke with him in an interview room at the sheriff’s station after his body was discovered.
His parents questioned him about his actions the night before, as well as any DNA or physical evidence that might have been discovered. Both told him to “find his story and stick to it,” according to the sheriff’s paperwork.
Aiden’s mother was previously accused of hand-washing a pair of his son’s jeans after he was taken into custody for questioning by deputies.
