The lawsuit, the ‘Legends of the Fall’ actress filed was under the Adult Survivors Act.

The lawsuit implicates the Walt Disney Co., Miramax, and Ormond’s former agents for allegedly being aware of Weinstein’s misconduct but failing to take any action.

The ‘Legends of the Fall’ actress claims that after a business meeting in December 1995, Weinstein committed battery against her and retaliated against her when she confronted him.

The ‘Legends of the Fall’ actress contends that she informed her agents at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), but they provided no support and advised against taking legal action.

The lawsuit highlights the alleged knowledge of Weinstein’s history by CAA, Disney, and Miramax, stating that they prioritized his importance and financial gains over the safety of women.
