Missing Toddler Found Dead in Family Swimming Pool

A three-year-old child who was reproted missing Tuesday afternoon was found dead later that night in their family’s swiming pool.

As WCBD reports, the unidentified child was reported missing from Dorchester County at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. By that time, the child had been out of sight for only 15-20 minutes. The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office launched an immediate response involving multiple agencies including Charleston County Sheriff’s Office helicopter and K9 units, and an FBI task force.

Tragically, the child was found deceased in the family pool at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.
