In a tragic development, a woman from Georgia has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of her 2-year-old son last month. The arrest occurred on Monday, shedding new light on the heartbreaking incident.
Just days prior to her arrest, 29-year-old Raven Borowiecki had set up a GoFundMe page, seeking financial assistance to cover the funeral expenses for her son, Keith Richard. Keith had tragically shot himself in late November. However, following Borowiecki’s arrest, the fundraising page was promptly removed. She now faces serious charges, including involuntary manslaughter, child cruelty, criminal negligence resulting in excessive pain, and reckless conduct, as reported by WSAV.
In her appeal on GoFundMe, Borowiecki reportedly expressed the family’s financial distress, saying, “We spent all our funds on funeral and urns and other things for our baby boy and now are left with a hefty amount of bills and just need some help to get back on our feet. We are very stressed and heartbroken. Still have six children to raise, and we are trying our best.”
Following her arrest, Borowiecki was released from Liberty County jail after posting a bond of $22,300, according to WSAV reports.
