Authorities have apprehended the mother and stepfather of a 12-year-old boy from Oklahoma who has been missing since Friday.
Kimberly Cole, the mother of Ryan “RJ” Davis Jr., faces charges of a crime against nature, as reported by KSWO. Meanwhile, her husband, George Cole, is charged with conspiracy. It remains unclear whether these charges are directly connected to the boy’s disappearance, and further details have yet to be released.
The Chickasha Police Department sought assistance from state authorities on Wednesday, according to a statement from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).
According to the Chickasha police, Davis was last seen just before 11:30 p.m. on Friday in the vicinity of the Quality Inn in Chickasha. At the time, he was on foot wearing a red and black plaid shirt, dark jeans, and brown steel-toed boots. Davis is described as being 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 85 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
On Wednesday, the boy’s parents made a public appeal for information regarding his whereabouts, as reported by KOCO. Meanwhile, OSBI public information officer Hunter McKee has labeled the circumstances surrounding Davis’s disappearance as “suspicious.”
According to KOCO, the parents pleaded for information about Davis earlier on Wednesday, while OSBI public information officer Hunter McKee called the disappearance “suspicious.”
“When it gets to a point where it’s multiple days and we’re still not sure what, where this boy had gone, it’s suspicious,” said McKee.
