Police were reportedly called to the home of Celeste Rivas, a California girl found dead last month, at least 11 times.
Previously, as reported by CrimeOnline, Celeste disappeared multiple times from her family’s Lake Elsinore home before her tragic discovery in September. Police eventually found her deceased in the trunk of a Tesla owned by singer D4vd, whose real name is David Burke.
Tesults from police records acquired by TMZ indicate that deputies answered multiple calls to her family’s home from February 2024 to April 2025.
On March 19, 2024, officers reportedly visited the residence three times in one day, following several calls. While the police report offers limited details, most calls were noted as a “minor crime investigation,” with another labeled under “suspicious circumstances.”
Celeste ran away that same day, with security footage from a liquor store showing the teen “running down the street.”
Burke’s vehicle was later located at a tow yard in Hollywood. Neighbors near his rental home in Hollywood Hills alerted police to an abandoned car with a Texas license plate on September 6.
The car had been at the tow lot for several days before its contents were revealed. Police discovered that Celeste’s body had been dismembered, placed in a bag, and left in the vehicle’s front trunk.
Police found Celeste’s remains just one day after she turned 15, “severely decomposed,” meaning she likely died at age 14.
Though her death is classified as a homicide, the exact cause remains uncertain, pending results from a toxicology report to determine if foul play or a drug overdose was involved.
Toxicology reports can take several months, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
So far, Burke has not been arrested or named as a suspect.
