Three Georgia parents are facing child cruelty charges after authorities allegedly found 15 children, ages 1 to 17, living in a “deplorable” two-bedroom apartment with just nine beds, little food and no toilet paper.
Ashley Jackson, 40, Derrick Jackson, 41, and Briana Reynolds, 36, were arrested Thursday after police allegedly discovered the children living in the conditions at the Laurel Hills Preserve apartment complex near Bells Ferry Road in Marietta, according to local NBC affiliate WXIA.

Derrick Jackson also faces an additional charge related to his time at the county correctional facility. WXIA reported that marijuana was allegedly discovered inside his body when he arrived at the facility.
All three adults remain in custody without bond.
