The Washington man accused of allegedly murdering his three young daughters may have changed his appearance since he was last seen.
In a update on Tuesday, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office noted that 32-year-old Travis Decker could have changed his appearance since he was last seen before he allegedly took the lives of his daughters, 9-year-old Paityn, 8-year-old Evelyn, and 5-year-old Olivia. The ongoing manhunt for Decker has prompted several agencies to join the search, including the nearby Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office.

As part of their update, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office released a digital rendering of what Decker may appear like after going off the radar. He was last sighted on May 30 when he collected his daughters for a scheduled visit and failed to return them to their mother. Tragically, all three girls were discovered dead on June 2 near a campsite, in proximity to Decker’s vehicle.

The medical examiner ruled that the cause of death for all three girls was suffocation; the manner of death was homicide.
The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office also addressed that a TikTok video claiming Decker had been captured following a standoff with police was not genuine.
“To be clear, Mr. Decker is not in custody and CCSO had no part in making the video,” the sheriff’s office said.
Several agencies have become involved in the manhunt for Decker, including the Washington Army National Guard, the U.S. Marshals Service and the U.S. Border Patrol. Authorities have stated that Decker, who is ex-military and a survivalist accustomed to living off the grid, should be considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities believe that Decker may be headed for the Canadian border after investigating his browsing history. He is also believed to be on a hiking trail that leads directly to the Canadian border.
Decker has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of kidnapping in connection with the deaths of his daughters.
Police have warned the public that if they see Decker, they should call 911 immediately and “do not attempt to contact or approach him.” Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest U.S. Marshals office, the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102, or USMS Tips
