FBI, US Marshals have joined the search for the 32-year-old mother of two teen girls.

Federal authorities have joined Louisiana police in the search for a ride share driver who disappeared on March 9 and a person of interest she reportedly was driving to Texas.

Police identified the person of interest as Brandon Francisco, said by family members to be the person Goodie was taking to Houston, KATC reported. They didn’t know, however, if she knew him before the ride.

Francisco had a court date in Alexandria on March 9 for his role in a December 24, 2018, shooting and carjacking, The Advocate reported. A man was critically wounded in that incident, the paper said.

Goodie’s Family members told KATC that the mother of two teenage girls told her daughters on the morning of March 9 that she was driving someone to Houston, about three hours away, and would be back by the end of the school day.

“She spoke to her daughter on that day that morning and made sure that she was going to school,” Goodie’s aunt, Rose, told the station. “She told them to go to school and her mom was going to be back before she get back from school. That she was just going to go bring this person to Houston and she was going to come back.”

Scott Police Chief Chad Leger said investigators had tracked Goodie’s vehicle on Interstate 10 headed toward Texas early in the morning.

“And approximately 12 hours later, it was picked up back in Louisiana coming back towards Lafayette area,” Leger said, adding that the next day, the vehicle was tracked north of Dallas.

Leger said the FBI and the US Marshals Service had joined the investigation.

Police said that Goodie had been suspended from her ride-share job and had begun to offer rides on her own, KATC said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Goodie or Francisco should contact the Scott Police Department at 337-233-3715.
