GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In a concerning development, Dylan Allen Sangricco, a 27-year-old Riviera Beach resident, was taken into custody yesterday. He faces allegations of stalking a Shands healthcare provider who had previously been involved in his treatment in southern Florida.
The healthcare provider, who spoke with an officer from the University of Florida Police Department, recounted a troubling pattern of unwanted contact with Sangricco over the past five years. Initially, she had shared her phone number with him to facilitate his medical procedure. However, as the interactions became inappropriate, she instructed him not to reach out to her further. Despite being barred from her practice in south Florida due to his conduct, Sangricco persisted in contacting her, even after she relocated to Gainesville.
On December 24, Sangricco was reportedly seen at Shands, where he allegedly expressed to a witness his intention to see the healthcare provider and ask her out on a date. The victim has reported receiving numerous voicemails from Sangricco, originating from various phone numbers, all soliciting a date. She identified his voice in each call and mentioned that although she had blocked his number, he continued to contact her through different numbers, including calls made from jail.
Currently residing in Riviera Beach, Sangricco faces charges of simple stalking. His extensive criminal record in Palm Beach County includes a recent sentence of 364 days in jail across three felony cases. In October 2025, he was arrested in Miami-Dade County for charges of battery on specified personnel and resisting an officer without violence. Though he was sentenced to 30 days of probation beginning December 1, it was unexpectedly terminated early on December 2. Details regarding his complete criminal history and bail remain undisclosed at this time.
