Authorities responded to an incident on Rowanda Street in Slacks Creek, Logan, last Friday morning, where they discovered a 41-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The injured man was immediately transported to the hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The police confirmed that the victim was known to them from previous encounters.
In a significant development, a 28-year-old woman from Carina Heights has been charged with murder. She also faces charges for the unlawful use of a vehicle and arson related to a motor vehicle.
Additionally, a 42-year-old man from Eagleby is facing several charges, including acting as an accessory to murder. He has also been charged with arson involving a motor vehicle.
He was also charged with arson of a motor vehicle.
It has not been confirmed what vehicle the pair allegedly set on fire, or where it was located.
The shooting was the second to occur in Logan last week, with another man being shot dead in Beenleigh last Tuesday.
The man and woman are due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
