Authorities have expanded their search for a missing 75-year-old woman from Tennessee into neighboring Kentucky.
According to WSMV 4, Alama Fowler was last observed on February 12 near Herrington Road in Camden, Tennessee, and reportedly left the area on foot. In response to her disappearance, law enforcement has issued a Silver Alert.
Benton County Sheriff Kenny Christopher stated on Wednesday, “Every effort was made during this critical search. We are still in the area of Herrington Road on a limited search.” He added that the investigation now extends into other counties in West Tennessee and Kentucky.
Concerns are heightened due to Fowler’s medical condition, which may hinder her ability to return home safely.
Fowler is described as being 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. Lex 18 reports that at the time she was last seen, she was wearing:

Fowler has a medical condition that could possibly prevent her from returning home safely.
She’s described as standing 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing around 110 pounds. She has brown eyes and grey hair. According to Lex 18, Fowler was last seen wearing:
- A green puffy jacket
- Tan jeans
- White snow boots
- White head band
“Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation,” police haven’t released additional details, Christopher added. However, K9 unit, park rangers, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol are assisting in the search.
