Authorities in Indiana have escalated the search for a 17-year-old girl, upgrading her missing persons status to “endangered.” This change indicates that they believe she could be in danger and may not be able to make her way back home independently.
Hailey Buzbee disappeared from her Fishers residence, located northeast of Indianapolis, during the night of January 5, and there have been no sightings of her since then. According to a statement from the Fishers Police Department, she departed intentionally and with prior planning, yet she did not leave alone.
The police emphasized that, due to the ongoing investigation and to ensure Hailey’s safety, they are unable to disclose many specifics regarding the search. They have appealed to the public for continued assistance, urging anyone with information to contact local, state, or federal authorities.
Hailey Buzbee is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. At the time she was last seen, she wore a white blouse, gray jeans, and a black puffer jacket, and she had a pink Vera Bradley duffle bag with her.
