What Happened With Peter Madsen? Is The Killer Of Journalist Kim Wall Still In Jail?
Peter Madsen was found guilty of Kim Wall’s murder and sentenced to life.
In January of 2018, he was charged with sexual assault, murder, and indecent handling of Kim Wall’s corpse. He did not plead guilty during the trial.
But in April, Madsen was proven guilty and incarcerated for life in prison. As per Wikipedia, the psychiatric evaluation reports described him as a narcissistic psychopath.
Peter was in jail since 2018 but he escaped on 20 October 2020. The police detained him again from a local residency and he was handed a 21-month prison sentence.
The additional sentence will not affect his life sentence but it might be an important detail if he ever requests for probation.

Where Is Peter Madsen Family Now?
As of now, the whereabouts of Peter Madsen’s family are obscure.
He was born to his parents, Annie and Carl. Annie was 3 decades younger than Carl and had 3 other children from her former partners.
That is why Carl was allegedly abusive towards 3 step-children but not Peter. When Annie could not tolerate it, she left the house with all her kids.
However, Peter returned back to his father after some years. His dad died in 1990 and not much is available about his mother.

He was born on January 12, 1971, in Demark. He is a Danish citizen who is currently serving his sentence at the Herstedvester Prison.

She went to Madsen to take an interview but she never returned. Her body was dismembered and dumped at different locations in the surrounding area.
Moreover, Madsen was arrested after he was rescued from Koge Bay and charged for negligent manslaughter. He was found guilty in the trial and incarcerated for life.

Peter Madsen is married twice and his current wife is an opposition activist, Jenny Curpen.
He was formerly married to an unidentified woman who left him before his trial began. In addition, she worked in the entertainment industry.
Peter wedded Jenny Curpen in 2020 and Curpen is in political asylum. The Facebook entry of Jenny suggested that they divorced in early 2022 but we are not sure of it.
