Renowned as a fashion icon, it’s no surprise that Alexa Chung attended Christian Siriano’s exclusive dinner and after-party at Koi in Soho on Saturday night.
This event was the follow-up to Siriano’s runway show, part of the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, where he unveiled his Fall/Winter 2014 collection.
Aged 30, Alexa made the trip from Los Angeles to New York specifically for NYFW and tweeted on Wednesday: ‘Annoying instagrams of LA fun end now. Annoying instagrams of NYFW will commence shortly….’

Chung, who has modelled before for the designer, looked fashion forward in a lemon fluffy jumper which she teamed with a matching lemon and metallic A-line skirt.
She kept her slim legs bare and added a pair of low-heel white Mary Jane’s to her ensemble.
A creature of habit, Alexa kept her trademark tousled hairstyle for the event, before tying it up into a ponytail later on in the evening, to keep her locks away from her face.

On her way to the venue, Alexa wore a simple grey overcoat to compensate for the freezing New York weather but she admitted she is not a fan of the cold climate.
On her way home from the party, she threw off her coat and posed alongside a snow-covered tree, writing: ‘The good thing about winter is NOTHING.’
She also carried her beloved kitten-print tote bag by Longchamp, which is now a few seasons old.

The TV personality was also joined by DJ Leigh Lezark and American model Harley Viera-Newton as well as Game Of Thrones stars Maisie Williams and Rose Leslie.
Alexa has been tasked with the role of Social Media Editor for fashion brand My Theresa’s Instagram Twitter and Facebook all weekend.
The author and style icon is going to be uploading photos from her favourite shows, heading backstage to get designer gossip and uploading from aftershow parties.

Siriano launched his eponymous fashion collection back in 2008 and showcases his designs every year at New York Fashion week.
He is well-known for his whimsical and show-stopping designs – from fantasy evening gowns and cocktail dresses, to tailored sportswear.
His designs have been worn by leading ladies, Sarah Jessica Parker, Emily Blunt, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga.
