Anthony Joshua brutally knocked out Francis Ngannou in just two rounds, requiring immediate medical attention.

The fight which took place at ‘Knockout Chaos‘ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday night, saw the former heavyweight world champion dominating from the start.

Joshua scored two early knockdowns before delivering a massive right hand that ended the fight.

Ngannou, a former UFC titleholder, struggled to recover after each knockdown and was eventually knocked out in a terrifying scene at the Kingdom Arena.

Paramedics quickly entered the ring to attend to Ngannou, who fortunately regained consciousness and was able to speak with Joshua after the fight.

Joshua, who urged Ngannou to continue boxing, now looks ahead to facing the winner of Tyson Fury’s upcoming two-fight series with Oleksandr Usyk, the current WBO, WBA, and IBF champion.

Ngannou, on the other hand is expected to return to MMA for a fight with PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira later this year.

In the post-fight press briefing, Joshua said, “It only takes one shot in the heavyweight division.

“I’m just doing it while I’m here and making the most of it. In five years, I won’t be fighting.”
