The singer told Miami radio show Johnny's House that although the performance was enjoyable, the group—including members Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass—split after years of touring together and does not intend to do it all again.

One night only: It has been seven years since the hugely popular band 'N Sync called it quits, and its members have no plans to tour again
When the radio host asked whether a tour might follow, the 41-year-old singer gave a firm answer.
'No, this was for Justin to get the Video Vanguard Award,' Chris said.
'It was funny because when all of us got back together, we remembered what we love about each other and what we hate about each other.
'It was just a bit of fun.'
Not again: Chris Kirkpatrick, pictured arriving at Sunday's after-party, said the reunion reminded the members what they love and dislike about one another
Fans were thrilled by the group's VMA medley of hits including Girlfriend, Gone and Bye Bye Bye. But Chris admitted the performance was demanding for members who, unlike Justin, have not kept up their dance training.
'Honestly, when he talked to us, I thought we were just coming out with microphone stands and singing. Then, when I got home from rehearsals, my girl asked, "Why are you drenched?"'
'I told her, "I'm too old for this."'

Step back in time: Fans loved the band's VMA medley, although the performance proved challenging for members who had not maintained Justin's dancing skills
Chris also said keeping the performance secret had been difficult, but his greatest concern was letting Justin down.
'When we were rehearsing in Miami, I was scared to death.
'I was so worried about messing up for him.'
Bandmate J.C. Chasez likewise ruled out a tour during an interview with Ryan Seacrest.

The 37-year-old said on Monday: 'No … it was about five great friends who spent 10 or 15 years touring together. We wanted to give something back to our fans, but we were mainly there to support Justin.'
Chasez said reuniting with the band felt remarkably familiar.
'Literally, two minutes after seeing everybody, you feel like no time has passed.'
Monochrome: The band looked dapper in coordinated black-and-white outfits
Still, some things have changed—or, more accurately, slowed down.
'This was the first time we had rehearsed together in 10 years, so everyone kept asking, "Can we go through this one more time slowly?" That part was pretty funny.'
The five-piece enjoyed a hugely successful career spanning almost a decade from the mid-1990s. Yet despite the success of the reunion, reports suggested the members remained far from fully united, perhaps explaining their reluctance to embark on another tour.

According to Us Weekly, the other members were unhappy that Justin had limited their set.
A source told Us: 'They were pushing for more.
'Justin was thrilled that they could be there for him, but he did not want the reunion to take over the entire show. They had originally been told they would perform more of their classic hits, not just Bye Bye Bye—but Justin later reworked it.'
