Chuvalo Mark Ferrell, the former spouse of “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” newcomer Kelli Ferrell, has initiated a significant legal battle against Bravo, seeking $200 million in damages over his portrayal on the popular reality show.

According to court documents accessed by the Daily Mail, Mark asserts that Kelli, aged 40, participated in a contrived narrative on the series, which included several unfounded allegations about his conduct and financial dealings.

Introduced to the cast for the show’s 16th season earlier this year, Kelli allegedly made false accusations on-screen, claiming that Mark had been abusive towards her, as stated by his legal team.

Additionally, Mark refutes Kelli’s assertions made during the show that he had borrowed money from her without settling the debt, as detailed in the legal filings.

The documents reveal that three years ago, both Mark and Kelli jointly secured a $420,000 loan to fund what they envisioned as their dream venture—a restaurant named Nana’s Chicken & Waffles.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives of both Bravo and Kelli Ferrell for more insights and comments regarding the unfolding legal drama.

‘Like I live such a private life … nobody wants to see hurt and pain on the forefront,’ she said. ‘Especially for my children – like, I never want to show that side.

‘When you’re joining reality TV, you have to show that … it’s unfortunate, but at the same time, it’s just my truth is my truth. I hate that it has to be that way, but I mean, that is my reality – and I joined a reality show.’

Kelli estimated that she’s spent almost $200,000 on attorney’s fees, but tries to remain upbeat amid the contentious split.

‘Honestly, it’s always positive,’ Kelli said, adding that she was ‘trying to have a better outlook on the ending result’ – her children.

Kelli said, ‘My children are always the most promised prize possession for me – so I always just want to see them happy.

‘So as much as I might be going through something emotionally, like as long as the ending is good for them and safe for them and puts them in a better position, then I’m okay, you know?’

The reality star said she was trying to make the best of a troublesome situation and was ‘always trying to remain positive and hope for the best.’
