Given England’s lackluster showing at this year’s World Cup, it would be reasonable if the team’s players opted to divert their attention from football this summer.

And Frank Lampard found the perfect alternative when he took his fiancée Christine Bleakley on a date to watch the tennis at Wimbledon on Saturday.

As London experienced a mix of sunshine and heavy showers, the duo made a stylish appearance on Centre Court in their impeccably coordinated outfits.

Christine, 35, stepped out in a white sleeveless top, which she teamed with a black skirt, featuring a scattering of small white squares.

With her wavy brown shoulder-length hair let loose, the TV personality completed her look with a pair of white stiletto pumps and a matching purse.

Not to be left behind, footballer Frank, 36, arrived at the sporty event looking dapper in a tailored three-piece navy suit, which he wore with a light blue shirt and black tie.

The love birds, who watched Eugenie Bouchard face off against Petra Kvitova in the ladies singles finals, have been enjoying their summer together since Frank’s return to British shores from the Brazil World Cup.

Last week, the two were photographed out together at London hot-spot Boujis.

And while he contemplates his future after quitting Chelsea, Frank still seemed to have football on his mind once he got home.

The star tweeted his way through Belgium’s World Cup match against Argentina.

Meanwhile, his belle Christine uploaded a picture of Frank posing with Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes at Wimbledon.

The couple have been romantically linked since 2009, announcing their engagement in June 2011.

Frank is the father or two daughters – Luna, 8, and Isla, 7 – with his former fiancée, Spanish model Elen Rivas.
