Goldie Hawn, 67, brightens up the front row of the Donna Karan show

At New York Fashion Week, the runway usually commands every gaze as designers unveil their newest collections.

On Monday, however, Goldie Hawn became the brightest attraction at Donna Karan’s show.

At 67, the actress drew even more attention than models a third of her age, turning heads in an almost dazzling orange dress.

True to her name, the Overboard star radiated glamour in the flowing, sleeveless gown.

Though the dress had a loose, understated silhouette, Hawn reportedly attracted a queue of male guests eager to have their photograph taken with her.

The vivid shade worked especially well against her bronzed skin and signature blonde hair.

Who needs a runway? The 67-year-old landed herself more attention than the models who were a third of her age, looking incredible in an orange dress

As she has done for decades, Goldie won over the crowd with a radiant smile beneath her long blonde fringe.

The First Wives Club star completed the look with a gold necklace, an oversized gold bangle and a large jade ring.

Seated beside her was fellow screen and fashion veteran Marisa Berenson, whom Yves Saint Laurent once famously called “the girl of the Seventies.”

Before the show began, the pair chatted with the designer’s daughter, Gabby Karan DeFelice.

Ali Larter also took in the collection, choosing a far more restrained palette than Hawn.

The 37-year-old highlighted her toned figure in a long-sleeved black-and-white dress with sheer mesh panels.

Friends in high places: Also at the parade was English singer Rita Ora, pictured her with the designer, who was a critical part of Donna Karan's other event, the 25th Anniversary of DKNY

The Heroes star, who sat beside Joy Bryant, added a subtle splash of colour with purple suede pumps.

English singer Rita Ora was also among the guests, having played a prominent role in Donna Karan’s separate DKNY 25th-anniversary celebration.

The 22-year-old both walked the runway and then preformed at the party afterwards.

No wonder she stood out: Goldie was certainly a contrast to the model's grey toned ensembles
