Lil Frosh, an up-and-coming artist, revisits an assault complaint against his now ex-girlfriend, Gift Camille a.k.a Cute Gemini, insisting that she set him up to damage his career.

It should be noted that Lil Frosh was called out by his ex-girlfriend over assault charges around two years ago, which resulted in his removal from DMW Records.

In a recent Instagram post, the nearly forgotten singer swore on his innocence amid a viral topic about how Gift reportedly framed and jailed a Tiktokker.

According to Lil Frosh, the conflict in the relationship started when Gift Camille disrespected his mother, causing him to hit her. He went on to apologise for raising his hands at her and pledged not to do it again.

However, he said that five months later, she developed an allergy reaction that he was aware of until she exploited the swelling as an excuse to accuse him of abuse.

He pleaded with Nigerians and Davido to give him another chance to establish his worth, emphasising his failing career and the negative comments directed at his name on social media.

In his words;

“I thank God for the opportunity that just presented itself, God knows I did not beat Gemini. I was framed I was blackmailed, and after all I paid. I still can’t get my career back because of the lies that was told against me. Nobody gave me listening ears, I tried to explain to my BOSS @davido but he didn’t want to listen because he has zero tolerance for hitting women. Please guys help me I am innocent, help me beg Davido to give me a chance again, Nigerians God bare me witness I am innocent.”
