A netizen on X recently attacked the stand-up comic, claiming that Basketmouth is contributing to the issues in Nigeria.
He said the comedian had fixed a show for Election Day instead of going out to vote.

In response, Basketmouth acknowledged that he was the source of the issues. He acknowledged, among other things, that the dollar is worth 1,700 naira in exchange.
