Sunday nights don’t quite have the same vibe without new episodes of Tracker on CBS. Since the Season 2 finale was aired on May 11, the Sunday night blues have felt just a tad heavier.

With writing by Elwood Reid and direction by Ken Olin, Tracker Season 2, Episode 20 featured Colter (Justin Hartley) heading back home to Echo Ridge. There, he visited his mother, Mary Dove Shaw (Wendy Crewson), and unexpectedly gained new insights into the tragic passing of his father, Ashton Shaw (Lee Tergesen).

The episode concluded with a significant cliffhanger, leaving fans eager for more Colter escapades and Shaw family revelations. So when is the popular CBS series slated to return with fresh episodes?

Wondering is Tracker on tonight, June 15? How many episodes are in Tracker Season 2? Has CBS renewed Tracker for a Season 3 yet? And when is Tracker‘s return date?

Here’s what to know about the future of the CBS series, including Tracker Season 3 premiere date info, how to watch Tracker live on CBS, and more.

Is Tracker On Tonight (6/15/25)?

Since Tracker’s Season 2 finale, CBS has been re-airing episodes on Sunday nights. But there’s no new episode or re-run premiering on Sunday, June 15. Instead, CBS will be airing A Grammy Salute to the Beach Boys in Tracker’s typical 9:00 p.m. ET. slot.

Per CBS, “The two-hour tribute special features a star-studded lineup of performers who will perform Beach Boys classics. Featured artists and special guests include John Legend, Brandi Carlile, Beck, Tom Hanks, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, and the Beach Boys themselves.” The re-air comes in wake of Brian Wilson’s recent death, but Tracker re-runs will be back soon…

You bet! On February 20, 2025, CBS renewed the popular survivalist drama for Season 3, which means Tracker is set to return with new episodes in the future. Back in February, CBS reported that Tracker hit over 18 million multiplatform viewers, a four percent increase from the previous year. And on May 7, 2025, CBS claimed another big win when Tracker took the top spot in the network’s 2024-2025 season, averaging 17.5 million broadcast and streaming viewers per episode, according to a 35-day Nielsen streaming report. It’s clear why CBS was eager to renew the hit series! So when will Tracker return?

When Does Tracker Return With New Episodes On CBS? Tracker Season 3 Premiere Date:

As of Sunday, June 15, an official Tracker Season 3 premiere date had yet to be announced, but CBS confirmed the series will return during the 2026-2027 broadcast season. For a better idea of when Tracker could return, let’s look at its prior release schedule.

Season 1 aired from February to May 2024, but was only 13 episodes. And Tracker‘s 20-episode Season 2 aired from October 2024 to May 2025. Considering the sophomore season’s success, CBS may want to opt for another fall premiere date. But while we wait for more updates, here’s what we can expect from the upcoming season.

How To Watch Tracker Live On CBS And Online:

Want to watch reruns of Tracker live on CBS? Or prepping to watch new Season 3 episodes live when the series returns? If you have a cable subscription that includes the network, you can watch Tracker live by setting your TV to the proper channel a few minutes before an episode airs.

You can also use your cable username and password to watch live CBS episodes live on CBS, CBS.com, or by using the CBS app. If your cable package includes a DVR, you can always record live episodes for later viewing, too. Don’t have cable? Don’t worry! There are other live viewing options, including fuboTV, Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV, or YouTube TV, which offer access to CBS without cable.

How To Watch Tracker Online? Paramount+ Streaming Info:

If you’re looking to rewatch Tracker Season 1 or catch up on Season 2 episodes, you may be wondering if the series is streaming on Paramount+. The answer is yes! All Season 1 and Season 2 episodes are currently streaming on Paramount+. When the series returns, new episodes will also be available to stream live on Paramount+ with Showtime and next day for Paramount+ Essential subscribers.

When Will Tracker Season 2 Be On Hulu?

If you’re hoping to stream Tracker Season 2 on Hulu, you’re currently out of luck. While Season 1 was added to Hulu back in October 2024 (five months after the Season 1 finale premiered), unfortunately Season 2 episodes have yet to be added. The sophomore season will likely be added to the platform in the future, but for now, head to Paramount+, CBS, or one of the other streaming methods listed above.

Tracker Season 1 and Season 2 are now streaming on Paramount+.
