Just days after preparing a Thanksgiving feast for her ex-husband Ben Affleck and their children, Jennifer Garner was seen replenishing her pantry at a local Los Angeles grocery store.

It seems the holiday festivities might have left her refrigerator bare, as the actress was spotted on Saturday, November 29, leaving Vicente Foods with a shopping cart overflowing with various groceries and supplies.

The mother of three kept her attire casual, donning red and white striped leggings, a long-sleeved black top, a faded red baseball cap, athletic socks, and white sneakers.

With her chestnut locks pulled back into a ponytail, Garner shielded her eyes from the autumn sun with a stylish pair of sunglasses.

The 53-year-old star of “Dallas Buyers Club” was seen engaging in friendly conversation with a man, who could have been either a store employee or another shopper.

This outing follows an earlier sighting of Affleck, also 53, arriving at Garner’s home on Thanksgiving. He was accompanied by his 13-year-old son, Samuel, in the back seat, and a woman who appeared to be his mother, Chris Boldt, in the front passenger seat.

It’s another sign that the exes are getting along very well these days.

The former couple were married in 2005 and welcomed three children, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, along with Samuel.

But 10 years later, in 2015, they separated with their divorce getting finalized in 2018.

Clearly, they have remained on the best of terms as they co-parent their kids, and spending Thanksgiving together as a family is just one tradition they continue to keep.

A source told People, ‘Just like last year, Jen hosted Thanksgiving at her house. Ben and his mom joined.

‘Jen makes it very special. She’s such a great chef. She loves having her whole family together too. Ben’s always welcome at her house.’

The source added that both Garner and Affleck ‘get along and really support each other’ and that the actor is also ‘doing well and staying focused on work, his health and his kids.’

Earlier on Thanksgiving, Jennifer served up holiday fare to the homeless on Skid Row in L.A.

Garner has been in a relationship with burger chain CEO John Miller since 2018. They were split for a brief period before reuniting in 2021 and they’ve been going strong since then.

Affleck ended his two-year marriage to Jennifer Lopez in 2024 with the Bronx-born beauty filing for divorce that August. Their split was finalized in January of this year.

As with Garner, Affleck has maintained the peace with Lopez, 56.

An insider told People last month, ‘They’re in a really good place. They continue to support each other. They’re both proud of what they accomplished together.’

Earlier on Thanksgiving, before her reunion with Affleck, Garner put everything aside to serve the homeless on Skid Row in Los Angeles.

She dished potatoes for The Midnight Mission’s annual charity lunch with a smile on her face.

Last year on Thanksgiving, Garner volunteered for the same shelter – and Affleck as well as their children had also joined her.

Jennifer and Ben have a long history and will ‘always be close’

A source told Page Six at the time that Affleck felt blessed to spend the holiday with Garner and their children, adding that he ‘can just be himself’ around the Alias alum.

‘Even though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her,’ the source continued.

‘Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his kids.

‘They’ll always be close because they share children together and maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship.’
