Joe Jonas. 35, got candid about the most ‘intimidating’ part of his divorce from Sophie Turner – which was finalized last year in September; seen in April in NYC

The singer briefly gave insight into his love life during a TalkShopLive stream on Wednesday; seen with Turner in 2023 in Beverly Hills
Joe remembered that someone he was dating – and whom he did not name – had simply told him, ‘Well, it’s only love.
‘I was like, “Well, when you put it that way…” So we wrote a song about it. Like, it was not a big deal, but it was a big deal to me, and a big deal to them, too.’
The former Disney channel star added, ‘But it’s okay to take a leap of faith and just try again and put yourself out there.’
Jonas initially sparked up a romance with Game Of Thrones actress Sophie Turner back in 2016 and the pair later tied the knot in 2019.
During their marriage, the former couple welcomed two children: Willa, four, and Delphine, two.
However in 2023, it was revealed that Joe and Sophie had split – with their divorce being finalized in September 2024.
During the process, the two stars underwent a custody battle over their daughters and had disagreements over where the little ones would reside full-time.
At one point, the British-born actress filed a child abduction claim against her ex, but later asked that the judge dismiss it in January of last year.

A few months earlier in March, the Mail on Sunday revealed that Sophie will move to her home country of the U.K. with their two children.
Turner previously talked about the split and expressed to Harper’s Bazaar, ‘We had a beautiful relationship, and it was hard.’
She added that she was ‘so happy to be back’ in England and before returning, the star explained that it had felt like her ‘life was on pause.’
During an interview with British Vogue, Sophie opened up about the effect of having a public divorce.
‘I mean, those were the worst few days of my life,’ the Joan actress stated. ‘I remember I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave.
‘My kids were in the States, and I couldn’t get to them because I had to finish [ITV drama] Joan. And all these articles started coming out…’
Turner has since been romantically linked to Peregrine Pearson, although the pair have recently been embroiled in split speculation.
Jonas also dated actress and singer Stormi Bree, but they went their separate ways last year in June.

After his divorce from Turner, the singer channeled his emotions into creating his upcoming studio album Music For People Who Believe In Love.
He began creating music again while ‘going through a lot of life changes,’ he explained to Billboard.
‘Finding out who I was as a person and father and friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be. And I think, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as an outlet.’
The star later reflected, ‘It was scary at times, and also freeing. I’m not trying to come for anyone on this album. I’m not trying to put stuff on blast.
‘I have a beautiful life that I’m grateful for. I’ve got two beautiful kids. I’m a happy person, and the music needed to resemble that – but also, the journey to get here.’
Ahead of the album’s release, Joe has already dropped three singles: Heart By Heart, Work It Out and What This Could Be.
