Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky recently sparked rumors of a rekindled romance after they were seen getting close in Aspen during the holiday season.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has now addressed these claims about their relationship status.

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, host Andy Cohen posed the pressing question to Richards.

Cohen asked, “Over the holidays, there were rumors of you and Mau being seen together and possibly reconciling. What’s your take on this?”

Richards, who had earlier criticized fellow Housewife Ashley Boalch Darby for flirting with her estranged husband, clarified, “Honestly, it’s just a story someone made up.”

Despite this, the mother of four seemed to show some nostalgia during a recent RHOBH episode, as she explored the renovations made by new cast member Amanda Frances to the home she once shared with Umansky, as reported by Bravo.

Memories came rushing back and so did the tears.

‘You can’t help but wonder what path you took or which detour you took affected your life,’ Richards shared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. ‘Obviously, decisions we made got us to where we are right now.’

She admitted that she and her now-estranged husband were always ‘chasing the next thing,’ instead of ‘loving’ and ‘appreciating’ what they already had.

‘I think that working so hard to keep achieving and achieving, at what point do you say, “You know, we’re good,”‘ Richards mused. ‘So, of course, I do think back and think all the, you know, woulda, coulda, shouldas.’

Back on WWHL, Cohen then asked Richards if she was ‘closer to filing for divorce’ in the present moment.

‘We have had conversations that we had not had during this season since then,’ Richards answered. ‘We still haven’t filed but we’ve had conversations since then about what it’s going to look like and all of that.’

Just weeks ago, Richards and Umansky’s ‘touchy and warm’ behavior at Kate Hudson’s New Year’s Eve party in Aspen certainly had people guessing they’ve reunited.

An eyewitness told Page Six the estranged couple poured on the PDA and looked ‘obviously very together’ at the star-studded bash co-hosted by talent manager Cade Hudson – no relation to Kate.

Richards – pictured in New York City on January 28 – was rumored to be dating her good friend, Morgan Wade, but she said in a recent episode of RHOBH that she was currently single

‘They were really enjoying one another’s company,’ the source relayed. ‘They had their arms around one another and were very touchy and warm with one another all night.

‘They were very obviously together and wanting to spend the party by one another’s side,’ they said.

‘If you didn’t know they had split up, you would presume they were still happily married,’ the source added.

According to the outlet, Richards and Umansky openly canoodled among the guests who included Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, Evan Ross, Anya Taylor-Joy, Lewis Hamilton, Rachel Zoe, Shaun White, Elon Musk, and Brooks Nader.

Richards and Umanky were in Aspen enjoying a family holiday with their four daughters – Farrah, 37, Alexia, 29, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17.

Farrah’s biological father is Richards’ ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie, but she and Umansky share a close father-daughter bond and The Agency owner refers to himself as her D2, meaning Dad 2.

The parents raised more eyebrows after they cozied up for a movie night during their stay in the celebrity winter wonderland, as seen in a TikTok video posted by Sophia.

‘My parents watching their little movie and eating their little popcorn on the floor like little kids,’ she wrote.

However, a source told Us Weekly at the time: ‘They are not getting back together or rekindling their romance,’ the insider told the outlet, adding that there is ‘still so much love between them.’

The couple separated in summer of 2023 after 27 years of marriage.

Richards has been rumored to be romancing her good friend, singer Morgan Wade.

She fueled those rumors in a recent episode of RHOBH when she declared that she had been in a relationship after the separation but was single now, adding that ‘gender doesn’t matter’ when looking for a prospective partner.
