Amy Hart has joyfully shared the news of her and her husband Sam Rason’s newest family addition, a baby boy who arrived sooner than expected.

The 33-year-old former Love Island contestant revealed the announcement on Instagram, accompanied by an adorable photo of the newborn meeting his ‘besotted’ older brother, two-year-old Stanley.

In the heartwarming post, the yet-to-be-named infant is lovingly held by his proud parents in the hospital, before they brought him home to start their new family chapter.

Expressing her joy, Amy wrote: “Another Beautiful Boy To Love. He is just gorgeous and we are so in love already! Thankfully, a day spent wandering around the farm might have hastened his arrival. At 8lbs 6oz, it seems he was ready to meet the world without waiting another three weeks.”

“Stanley is utterly taken with his little brother and is eager to have him on his basketball team. There’s so much to update you on, and as usual, it’s never without its dramas! Sam, Amy, Stanley, and… NoNameYet xxx,” she added.

Throughout her pregnancy, Amy has been candid about how anxiety has affected her, especially after announcing her pregnancy following two previous miscarriages.

Amy announced last year she’s set to welcome another baby with her husband Sam, and admitted at the time it had been a ‘difficult’ journey to conceive.

Speaking to Daily Mail, Amy opened up about the heartache around her two previous miscarriages, admitting it meant she and Sam struggled to celebrate when they saw their positive pregnancy test this time around.

The mother-to-be added that they’ve been trying to ‘carry on with their lives as normal’ and ‘not think about it much,’ admitting that the miscarriages also meant that Sam has been more ‘anxious’ throughout her pregnancy.

Amy also hit out at mum-shaming trolls who have criticised her parenting, insisting she’s going to ‘trust herself’ more when her second child is born.

Amy said: ‘We’ve obviously had two miscarriages before. So when we found out we were pregnant with Stanley, it was very unplanned.

‘So we were very like, ”oh God, let’s take another test, we don’t know’. And then when we got pregnant in December, we really just like laughed because we were like, ‘oh my God, I can’t believe this first month of trying. This is so funny. I can’t believe this has happened.” Then I had a miscarriage.

‘Then our next time we got pregnant, we like we’re like ”woohoo”, I actually got the video of us being like ”woop”, because we’re not we’re not open mouth criers over the over the tests.

‘So then had a miscarriage again, and then the third time we got the positive pregnancy test and we were just like ”okay” like just move on, just carry on with our lives as normal. I just try not to like think about it too much.’

‘Sam is very excited, but he’s quite anxious as well. He’s like, ”until the baby’s here, I can’t quite relax.”

Despite their fears, Amy shared that her son Stanley is ‘really excited’ he’s going to be a big brother, and aside from nausea during her first trimester, she’s hasn’t had any major symptoms during her pregnancy.

The star also opened up about how she’s handled the reaction of mum-shaming trolls who criticise her methods with parenting Stanley, insisting she’s going to ‘ignore the noise’ when her new baby arrives.

She said: ‘I think when I had Stanley, everyone was very like, ”oh, you’re doing this wrong, you’re doing this wrong, you’re doing this wrong, you’re overfeeding him.” I was like, ”do you want me to leave him to be hungry? I’m really confused.”

‘And I think this time, I look at Stanley now and he’s healthy, perfectly proportioned, sociable, chatty, funny, and just loves life.

‘And I’m like: ”do you know what, actually, we’ve done very well with you.” So this time I just trust myself more and just sort of ignore the noise.’
