The three tuxedos! Ryan Seacrest left red-faced when interviewing Will

At major awards shows like the Emmy Awards, men’s fashion often takes a back seat to the gowns and glamour dominating the red carpet.

But on Sunday afternoon, E! host Ryan Seacrest unexpectedly became part of the style conversation — and not quite for the reason he might have hoped.

Seacrest crossed paths on the Emmy Awards red carpet with not one but two actors wearing strikingly similar grey suits, each finished with sleek satin peak lapels.

Modern Family star Ty Burrell’s version had one key difference, arriving in a double-breasted cut.

Comedian Will Arnett’s suit, however, appeared almost exactly the same as Seacrest’s.

Ryan saw the funny side as he tweeted a picture with Will while on the red carpet together.

Luckily the other men of the evening chose different looks on the night.

Jeff Daniels looked sharp as he picked up the Emmy Award on Sunday for best drama series actor for his portrayal of an idealistic TV anchorman in The Newsroom.

Daniels noted that he’d also received an age 50-plus acting honor from AARP, which represents the interests of older Americans.

‘With all due respect to the AARP, this is even better,’ Daniels said.

Tony Hale of Veep claimed the trophy for best supporting actor in a comedy, a category that has been the property in recent years of the men of Modern Family.

Bobby Cannavale, from Boardwalk Empire,”won as best supporting actor in a drama, and Anna Gunn from Breaking Bad won the best actress award in the same category.
