Tonight saw The Apprentice return with a bang but the new cast have failed to impress the viewers with this evening’s task slammed as ‘hilariously bad’.
This year there are two Yorkshire contestants on the show, vying for a £250,000 investment from business guru Lord Alan Sugar.
Harpreet Kaur, a dessert parlous owner from Huddersfield and Bradford mum-of-five Shama Amin were both seen tonight but viewers weren’t left amazed by any contestant in this series.

Two bizarre mishaps took place tonight that left fans appalled – when asked to create a logo for a cruise company, the boys’ team created a half man, half wave piece in orange and green.
The strange looking logo took on the look of a ‘mouldy banana’ and many viewers found the whole process hilarious.
The girls’ team fared no better when creating their social teaser.
Taken in front of a green screen, one of the women wore a green dress – which effectively made her invisible.
Taking to social media to express their thoughts, viewers furiously typed, despairing at the competitors.
@daview96 seemed baffled, tweeting: “Thirty minutes into new season of the Apprentice… one team didn’t realise you can’t wear a green dress in front of a green screen while the other forgot to put their business name on their logo.
“Where do the find these folk?”
@pompeyboy1415 seemed to agree, commenting: “This first episode of the apprentice is a car crash for both teams.
Another viewer regarded tonight’s episode as a complete comedy with @meg_stanley_ writing: “I had forgotten what an absolute comedy The Apprentice is, forget sitcoms give me more business men trying to sell luxury cruises with a mouldy banana logo”.
@carl_zero found the hilarity in the situation too, adding: “That logo the boys team have knocked up on the apprentice might be my favourite thing ever.
@fergie775 continued the humour, writing: “The Apprentice is too much man what is this logo hahahaha”
@gramatter couldn’t believe how embarrassing it was, tweeting: “Watching ‘The Apprentice’ through my fingers… cringeworthy.”
@Reb_Berm Fully couldn’t quite shake off the green screen mishap, commenting: “dead at the green dress saga on the apprentice”
