Everton striker Neal Maupay is heading to Brentford for a medical as the clubs iron out a deal.

Maupay looks set to join Brentford on loan having previously played for the club between 2017 and 2019.

Brentford are eager to bolster their attacking options, especially with Ivan Toney still unavailable due to being banned for breaching FA betting rules.

However, he scored 27 times for Brighton and Thomas Frank will hope to help him rediscover his best form.
