Adele has revealed she is currently working out ‘two or three times a day’ to regain her ‘rock solid’ bottom – but admits she does take Sundays off.

The singer, 35, admitted she takes the pressure off to get ‘hammered’ on white wine spritzers and enjoy a McDonalds takeaway on her day off.

Adele said she isn’t taking her final run of Las Vegas shows as seriously as before and indulges in the odd drink, after previously going teetotal.

The London native said that while she is ‘back on her grind’, she believes her last six months in Sin City are about having a laugh and she doesn’t mind if she ‘f***s up’.

Adele said: ‘I have done absolutely nothing’ since last weekend. I am back at my gym grind like nobody’s business, I am doing two or three sessions a day.

‘My a**e is getting rock solid again. I can move mountains with my bum. That is all I have done.’

Revealing that she has also spent time with her husband Rich Paul, who is a sports agent, she said: ‘I have obviously watched lots of basketball.’

However, Adele insisted it isn’t all work and no play for her, as she revealed that Sundays are her cheat days.

She said: ‘I gave up drinking, coffee and all the fun things being an adult allows you to do. I was so boring.

‘So on my last break I was like I will have a glass of wine and four expressos. So now I am back on shows, I am only allowing myself to drink on Sundays.

‘But it is okay! Four or five white wine spritzers get me absolutely hammered and also I order McDonalds and forget the next day so it doesn’t really count.’

Adele, who is currently hosting a residency at The Colosseum in Vegas, said that this will definitely be her final run, after previously extending her stay.

The star shared how the headline shows have helped her to regain her confidence on stage, but admitted she still question her professional status.

She said: ‘This really is the last run. With this run of shows rather than worry that I forgot the lyrics or f****d that up; it is quite funny and I can make a joke of it and I can really make fun of it. But sometimes I am like “why wasn’t I more professional?”

‘For this run I am having a laugh and [want to] soak it up. It is just a bonus. Sometimes if I forget my lyrics it doesn’t mean I don’t know them. It’s just I cannot remember them.’

Adele admitted that her Weekends With residency has prompted her to have a new confidence to play live again.

Adele said: ‘I just appreciate it so much. I know it’s such a big ask. This room has given me such security that I needed to be ready to do what I am going to do next.

‘I just don’t think I am going to write an album for quite some time. But next time I do I will come wherever it is that you live.

‘I’m going to miss this so much. I do love this show.’

Adele, who ends her residency in June, released her last album in 2021, but fans will have a while to wait for her next record as she said she is not ready to release new music.

Last year, Adele spoke out about how her 100lb weight loss caused some of her fans to feel ‘very betrayed.’

She spoke about how she ‘felt terrible’ after her seven-stone weight loss upset some of her body- conscious younger fans.

Adele admitted she was distressed to learn that losing the weight had caused some fans to suffer.

Addressing the backlash, she explained that she had shed the pounds for ‘myself’, after anxiety struggles.

Speaking on Desert Island Discs, she said: ‘I understand why the press were fascinated by it, I didn’t share my journey in the way that everyone else does.

‘Most other people would have a DVD out by now. I did it on the quiet for myself’.

‘But I felt terrible for some people that felt other people’s comments meant they weren’t looking good or that they weren’t beautiful.’

But the megastar dismisses accusations levelled at her on social media that her transformation meant she had caved into societal pressure.

‘Some of the ones I saw were young, they were like 15. There were some other people that felt very betrayed by me, like, ‘Oh, she is giving into the pressure of it’, which didn’t really bother me.

‘Because, like, you ain’t holding my hand at night at 4am when I’m crying my heart out with anxiety and needing a distraction and stuff like that.

‘100 per cent (exercise) gave me focus, it gave me somewhere to get rid of my energy — good or bad — and it made me feel like I was getting stronger mentally by getting stronger physically.’

She says that despite her setbacks she has discovered a new sense of peace in her life partly thanks to ‘a lot of therapy’.

She adds: ‘I don’t put myself in situations any more that drain me. I’m going to walk away from it. I choose people very, very carefully now who are in my life.’
