Killing Eve Season 4 will take Eve and Villanelle’s Relationship to new heights
The Emmy-nominated BBC show Killing Eve, starring Sandra Oh as Eve Polastri and Jodi Comer as the assassin, Villanelle is home to the most complicated yet adored couple. Their danger-filled romance is the focal point of the show.

After the cinematic reunion on London Bridge in the previous season, this season promises some new intensity. Though it brings in excitement, this reunion is not all-good.

Villanelle being the terrible influence on Eve’s life has already cost her job, husband Niko (Owen McDonnell) along with most of her sanity.

“It’s sort of the most fed-up, self-destructive, glorious, edifying, ego-fulfilling relationship ever. I think it is really hard to walk away from something [when] somebody sees you in a very unique way that makes you feel like you’re a little sunflower in the sunlight. That’s really hard to step away from that,” EP Sally Woodward Gentle told Entertainment Weekly.

Filming delayed indefinitely:

In season 3, the cast and crew of the show traveled almost half the world, But with the pandemic going on, this does seem like a far fetched dream for season 4. As per the Deadline, the filming of the show was to be resumed in August but in June 2020, it was delayed indefinitely.

Fiona Shaw playing the M16 agent Carolyn Marten will watch the lead’s relationship from afar and due to obvious reasons Dasha, Villanelle’s mentor played by Harriet Walter won’t be returning this season.

Talking of where the most interesting changes take place, the writer’s room will this time have Laura Neal- the talent behind Diary of a Call Girl and Netflix’s Sex Education as the lead writer. Everyone seems excited and optimistic as to what wonders Laura will do with the show after the impressive 3rd season.

(Killing Eve) A lot of questions need to be answered:

The future of the lead’s relationship being the priority question, we also hope this season sheds some light on the organization Twelve who hires assassin.

Interesting as it is, the fate of Villanelle’s handler also needs some light in the show. With his daughter in jail, it would be fascinating to see what he does as he cannot flee the U.K for her sake.

Centre of controversy:(Killing Eve)

A now-deleted Twitter post of the screenshot of a zoom call of the writer’s room consisting of only white people posted by writer ‘Kayleigh Llewellyn’ gave rise to a lot of controversy regarding the lack of diversity behind the camera and slow development of people behind the camera in the UK.
