Next Gen NYC could present some familiar faces to Bravo enthusiasts such as Ariana Biermann, Riley Burruss, Brooks Marks, and Gia Giudice. However, a few newcomers to reality TV are already making waves after just two episodes. One such individual is Charlie Zakkour.

Known for his “Chuck Bass” persona on Next Gen NYC, Zakkour has been at the heart of the season’s drama. This began after he took Brooks’ sister, Chloe Marks, on a date and made an inappropriate comment to Brooks about taking her back to his place. Despite issuing an apology, Zakkour continued to provoke Brooks concerning his sister, eventually drawing the ire of Biermann in the latest episode.

What’s intriguing about Zakkour is his apparent lack of interest in the Real Housewives offspring. In fact, Brooks expressed his frustration upon discovering there would be additional Bravo descendants involved in the show beyond just him and Burruss.

So, who is Next Gen NYC star Charlie Zakkour? And is it true that he dated Lindsay Lohan when he was in high school? Keep reading for everything we know.

Who is Next Gen NYC star Charlie Zakkour?

Zakkour, 29, is described by Bravo as a “crypto trader and private investor who’s been ruling NYC’s club scene since he was 14.” However, we learned a bit more about him in the first two episodes of Next Gen NYC.

Zakkour certainly grew up with a silver spoon. His father is a retired investment banker who, based on the first episode, seems to fund Zakkour’s lifestyle. As a cryptocurrency trader, Zakkour gets money from his dad that he then uses to “invest in cryptocurrencies.” In the premiere of Next Gen NYC, producers show Zakkour telling his barber that he’s going to pretend to pay for his haircut with his own card on-camera — but what he really wants is for them to put the bill on his dad’s tab.

Did Charlie Zakkour date Lindsay Lohan?

In the Next Gen NYC premiere, Georgia McCann revealed that one of Zakkour’s first girlfriends was Lindsay Lohan. The party boy confirmed in his confessional that he dated the actress, who is nine years his senior, when he was in high school. “She would, like, pick me up from school,” he confessed. Lohan has yet to comment on this, though producers did flash a photo of the former lovebirds in the episode.

Last month, cryptocurrency investor John Woeltz was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and torturing Italian crypto millionaire Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan with electrocution and tasing for weeks. In a video of the arrest that was later posted on social media, a concerned blonde man is seen watching the scene unfold from the background; however, eagle-eyed Bravo fans quickly identified the mystery man as Zakkour. A source told Page Six that Zakkour would sometimes “crash” at the apartment where the alleged extortion attempt took place, which another source described as a “frat house for crypto bros.” While no one knows exactly why Zakkour was present for the ordeal, he has not been arrested or charged with any wrongdoing.
