Police search for missing 22-year-old woman in Wisconsin

UPDATE: Missing Wisconsin grad student found dead in the Mississippi River, police say

() A search is underway for missing grad student Eliotte Heinz, 22, after she vanished in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on Sunday.

The La Crosse Police Department has asked the public for help in finding Heinz, who was last seen walking along the Mississippi River at approximately 3:22 a.m. on July 20. 

Heinz is a graduate student at Viterbo University, a private Catholic college in La Crosse. She was wearing a white T-shirt and jean shorts when she was last seen.

She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. 

Anyone with information is urged to call the police nonemergency line at 608-782-7575 or report anonymously at La Crosse Area Crime Stoppers at 608-784-TIPS or online.

“If you have seen anything, even if it’s small, anything at all, please call La Crosse Police Department,” Heinz’s mother, Amber, told WISN.
