BURBANK, CA. () – The Savannah Bananas will make their broadcast television debut Sunday, July 27 on CW.

The Bananas are set to showcase their distinctive style of baseball at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park. The event is a sold-out spectacle with over 40,000 fans in attendance, but viewers at home can enjoy a virtual experience from behind home plate.

“The Savannah Bananas have captivated the sports world with their energetic fusion of baseball and entertainment that resonates with fans of all generations,” stated Mike Perman, Senior Vice President at CW Sports. “We are excited to join forces with them for their first broadcast television appearance, delivering every unexpected move to our audience amidst an electrifying setting in Philadelphia.”

Jesse Cole, the founder and CEO of the Savannah Bananas, expressed, “Bringing Banana Ball to The CW was an easy decision. Given their latest dedication to sports, we realized this could be an excellent collaboration. With the fast-paced and entertaining nature of Banana Ball, we are eager to grow our fan base together in the upcoming years.”

The Savannah Bananas have earned worldwide fame with their one-of-a-kind brand of “Banana Ball” – the fastest and most entertaining game of baseball. Known for their choreographed dances, epic scoring celebrations, flaming bats and an array of other antics, the team has sold out every game at historic Grayson Stadium since their first season in 2016.

The team currently boasts over 9.8 million followers on TikTok, outnumbering every franchise in Major League Baseball (as well as every team in the NFL, NBA, and NHL).

The Bananas have been featured on ESPN, CNN, and CBS News and in Sports Illustrated.
