WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. — In a dramatic turn of events, a man accused of setting both his mother and their home ablaze made his initial court appearance on Friday morning. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) revealed in a press statement on Thursday that 32-year-old Dustin Machen had been taken into custody following deputies’ response to an alleged arson incident.
