RICHMOND HILL, Ga. — A man involved in a shooting incident at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Richmond Hill has been apprehended by law enforcement.
The incident unfolded on the night of October 22 at around 11:01 p.m. when officers from the Richmond Hill Police Department (RHPD) responded to reports of gunfire at a T/A truck stop. Upon investigation, authorities determined that the shooting actually took place at a McDonald’s drive-thru situated just across the street from the truck stop.
By Wednesday morning, the RHPD confirmed that the suspect had been taken into custody. However, the suspect’s identity remains undisclosed, and it has not been confirmed if they are facing any charges at this time.
The investigation saw collaboration from multiple law enforcement agencies. These included the Richmond Hill Patrol, Richmond Hill Criminal Investigation Division, the Atlantic Judicial Circuit Office, as well as the sheriff’s offices from Bryan and Liberty counties.
