The two donkeys residing at David Crockett Birthplace State Park in Limestone, Tennessee, have been temporarily moved to Bright’s Zoo. This comes after Hurricane Helene caused significant damage last year to the park by the Nolichucky River.

David Bright, the zoo’s owner, expressed his happiness in offering a refuge for the donkeys while their habitat in the state park undergoes reconstruction.

“Visitors enjoyed watching them,” Bright mentioned to News Channel 11. “The donkeys enjoyed interacting with visitors. So, having the chance to offer them a temporary home while the area gets restored was something we were thrilled to do. Thus, guests can visit the donkeys along with the alpacas.”
