() Los Angeles police are searching for three suspects after Brad Pitt’s home was burglarized on Wednesday, according to reports.

Pitt’s home was allegedly broken into when no one was home, and Pitt was in Japan to promote his new “F1” movie, according to TMZ. LA police said three suspects climbed Pitt’s front fence and shattered a window in the living room to get in.

Once the suspects were inside, they allegedly “ransacked” the home. Officers responded to the scene because of an alarm call. The value of any stolen items has not yet been released.

Celebrities facing burglaries in Southern California

Other celebrities, such as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, have also had their homes burglarized this year, according to affiliate KTLA. In December, Tyler Perry’s home was burglarized, and security guards chased off four intruders who reportedly left crowbars, gloves and a cellphone.

NBC News reported that Olivier Giroud, forward for the Los Angeles Football Club, was also the victim of a burglary recently. A “significant amount” of jewelry was stolen from Giroud, a member of the French National Team that won the World Cup in 2018.

Police have not indicated whether these crimes are connected to South American burglary crews who have recently targeted high-end homes. NBC News reported these groups have been prominent in the LA area for more than 10 years.

Brad Pitt prepared for ‘attacks’ ahead of ‘F1’ premiere

Pitt had reportedly been preparing for “attacks” ahead of the “F1” premiere. There have already been stories about how he believes his relationship with his two oldest adopted children is “unfixable” and he has allegedly “cut them off.” There have also allegedly been rumors that some of his children changed their name from Jolie-Pitt to just Jolie.

However, a friend of Pitt told ‘s Paula Froelich, “It’s all bull—, and to be expected. Anytime Brad has a major project out or is in the news for something good, all these stories get ‘leaked’ that try to damage him. It’s insane. We all know where these stories come from. Angelina can’t stand it when Brad does well.”

Despite all the rumors, the friend said he would “never cut” his kids off. “If anyone blew their legacy, it would be Angelina. Chateau Miraval was supposed to be for the kids their legacy. Angelina sold her half for cash. Brad still has his half, and it is to be left for the children. All of them.”

Pitt was recently in New York City for the premiere of “F1: The Movie,” and one insider told ‘s Froelich that his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, was also in the city “haunting” him. Pitt was staying at the Whitby Hotel with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.

The insider said, “It’s just insane that Angelina would show up in the city the same week of Brad’s premiere. She just can’t stand for him to get any good press. It’s like she’s haunting him.”
