URBANA, Ill. — The Champaign County Emergency Management Agency is set to receive significant technological enhancements, courtesy of a generous grant from Norfolk Southern Railway. The grant, valued at over $13,000, aims to bolster the agency’s operational capabilities.

John Dwyer, the agency’s coordinator, highlighted the timeliness of the $13,478 grant, particularly as federal budget cuts have already led to the loss of certain grants for the agency.
