CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — No, this isn’t a trick! Champaign, Urbana, and Champaign County officially announced this year’s trick-or-treating hours on Wednesday morning.
Halloween trick-or-treating will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. Officials also stated that the Champaign County Board approved specific rules and guidelines for the holiday.
They decided that trick-or-treating will take place on Oct. 31, regardless of the day of the week. If the holiday falls on a weekday, trick-or-treating hours will be from 6-8 p.m., as they are this year. However, if Halloween occurs on a weekend, trick-or-treating will be from 5-7 p.m.
Although trick-or-treating is several weeks away, many are already getting ready for the holiday. If you’ve decorated your home already—or plan to do so soon—click here for information on how to share photos of your spooktacular displays with WCIA.
