Suspect arrested, booked into Brevard County Jail
PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. — A man is facing charges after Brevard County deputies say he was caught driving 107 mph in a 45 mph zone.
According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy conducting speed enforcement on State Road 528 near Port Canaveral recorded a white Lamborghini traveling at 107 mph.
Investigators identified the driver as Corey Weedman and said he was pulled over shortly afterward.
Deputies said Weedman told them it was a “big night” and that he had rented the vehicle for the occasion.
Weedman was arrested at the scene and later booked into the Brevard County Jail.
He is charged with driving 50 mph or more above the posted speed limit.
Weedman’s bond was set at $500.
