LONDON – The prestigious British Academy Film Awards for 2026 were revealed on Sunday, celebrating outstanding achievements in cinema.
The award for Best Film went to the gripping drama “One Battle After Another,” which captivated audiences and critics alike.
Taking home the title of Best British Film was “Hamnet,” a masterpiece that resonated with its portrayal of historical depth and emotion.
Paul Thomas Anderson was honored as Best Director for his exceptional work on “One Battle After Another,” further cementing his place as a visionary filmmaker.
In the acting categories, Robert Aramayo was recognized as Best Actor for his compelling performance in “I Swear,” bringing nuance and intensity to his role.
Jessie Buckley claimed the Best Actress award for her portrayal in “Hamnet,” delivering a powerful and memorable performance.
