ORLANDO, Fla. – In a recent study conducted by MovingPlace, one Florida neighborhood has emerged among the top 10 most sought-after ZIP codes in the United States.
The comprehensive report, which scrutinized close to one million relocations occurring in October, identified the areas that are currently the most desirable for movers.
Among these hot spots, Jacksonville’s ZIP code 32256 stood out, securing the sixth position in the list of the most moved-to locations last month with a total of 294 moves.

According to MovingPlace, Jacksonville’s burgeoning appeal can be attributed to its competitive housing market. The median home price in the 32256 area has surged to $388,000, marking an impressive 21.3 percent increase from the previous year.
Besides affordable housing, the allure of this Jacksonville ZIP code is enhanced by promising job prospects and its convenient proximity to the city’s core.
The study also highlighted a broader trend, noting that sunbelt states such as Florida, Texas, and Tennessee are experiencing significant population influxes. In particular, Florida’s Port Saint Lucie ZIP code 34987 saw a dramatic rise, with the number of moves more than doubling from the previous month.
