PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — Dollywood visitors may have recently noticed some new hints in the park related to the new attraction coming in 2026.

In March, during the preview day for the 2025 season, Dollywood revealed a new attraction set to launch next year, promising guests the chance to “take flight.” Dolly Parton joined forces with Dollywood’s president, Eugene Naughton, at the event. Visitors with keen eyes might notice clues about this new attraction scattered around the park.

Various posters throughout Dollywood are seeking “adventurers” and provide contact details for those interested in more information. The posters feature a decal stating “Hidden Hollow Aviation.” Using teaser posters is a tradition at Dollywood, as seen with the Big Bear Mountain rollercoaster’s similar promotional tactics.

Additionally, passengers on the Dollywood Express train might spot construction activities close to Big Bear Mountain. A new structure displays banners indicating it as the “future home of Hidden Hollow Aviation.” This name partially aligns with Wildwood Grove’s play area, also called Hidden Hollow.

Although Dollywood hasn’t officially confirmed that Hidden Hollow Aviation is the core of the new attraction, their website hosts a page for it, featuring three videos. One of these videos was also presented during the 2025 season preview.

Park enthusiasts eager to learn about Hidden Hollow Aviation’s storyline should check out the teasers, which narrate a family’s adventure and “The Legend of the Secret Lake.”

A Dollywood spokesperson mentioned that more hints regarding the 2026 attraction will be released on social media. They also promised a forthcoming announcement about “the largest attraction investment in Dollywood’s history.”

In March, Dollywood shared that the new attraction would be Great Smoky Mountain themed, with Parton and Naughton revealing that it was the biggest and most ambitious project Dollywood has undertaken.
