WATCH LIVE at 9:30 p.m.: SpaceX rocket launch from Florida’s coast

Brevard County, Fla. – On Wednesday, SpaceX is set to launch a Spanish satellite communications mission from Florida’s Space Coast.

The mission, known as SpainSat NG II, is planned to lift off within a four-hour launch window starting at 9:30 p.m., as detailed on SpaceX’s official website.

A Falcon 9 rocket will be tasked with transporting the satellite payload to a geosynchronous transfer orbit. This launch will occur from Space Launch Complex 40 located at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

According to SpaceX, this mission will be the 22nd and final flight for the Falcon 9’s first-stage booster, due to the additional performance demands for this particular payload deployment. This booster has previously supported a variety of missions, including CRS-26, OneWeb Launch 16, Intelsat IS-40e, SES O3b mPOWER-C, Ovzon-3, Eutelsat 26D, Turksat 6A, Maxar 2, SXM-9, and 12 Starlink missions.
